When we hit the Disney Parks, we’ve usually got food on the mind.

Just last weekend we were reunited with the ICONIC bread bowls at Disney California Adventure when Pacific Wharf Cafe reopened. Now, to celebrate the return of the cheesy, bready goodness we’re taking a look behind the scenes!

If you’ve been to Disney California Adventure, chances are you’ve either stared longingly at a bread bowl filled with mac and cheese or soup or eaten one for yourself! Well, have you ever wondered how Disney makes these beautiful, edible food vessels? 

You’re in luck! Disney Parks posted a behind-the-scenes video on TikTok of how those Pacific Wharf bread bowls are made. Watch it here!

According to the video, the dough for the bowls is separated and kneaded before being put into an oven to rise. Then, it’s removed from the oven to be scored before baking! After that, a Cast Member cuts the center out, and VOILA! You have a bread bowl!
