We hate to admit it, but not all cookies are created the same. Some Disney cookies are perfectly sweet and chocolatey, while others fail to live up to the hype.

It’s a tough task, but someone’s got to taste all the cookies around here, and now we’ve got a new Gideon’s Bakehouse treat to try for the month of August!

Formerly sold at The Polite Pig in Disney Springs, Gideon’s cookies are HUGE (we’re talking nearly half a pound) fully-loaded cookies with a loyal cult following.

Cookies aren’t the only thing on the menu, though! Gideon’s also serves cakes, coffee, and other limited-time special offerings! If you want to get your hands on one of these decadent desserts, you’ll sometimes have to join a virtual queue. Luckily, we have plenty of tips and tricks to handle he virtual line!

Now, the real question is, what’s up with the new cookie at Gideon’s this month? Well…it’s time to welcome The Rocky Road cookie with Dark Chocolate, Candied Almonds, and Toasted Marshmallow.

This cookie weighs in at almost half a pound, it’s huge! The cookie’s base is a triple chocolate cookie with a LOT of chocolate and candied almonds. On top, there are marshmallows that have been torched for a nice toasted marshmallow effect. So of course, we HAD to get one and try it!

This is a delicious (but messy) treat! Who knew this classic ice cream flavor would transfer SO well into a cookie?! You can stop by Gideon’s Bakehouse and grab one for $6.
