There are a few popular attractions in Magic Kingdom that aren’t available right now!
Cinderella Castle
The Hall of Presidents is closed as Imagineers add the animatronic of President Joe Biden, and construction on the upcoming TRON ride has shut down the Disney World Railroad that’s usually running around the park! Now, Disney has announced one more ride that’s closing for updates!
In Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is scheduled to be closed for refurbishments this month! Right now, it’s only scheduled to be closed from July 20th through July 22nd of this year. If you’re heading down to Disney World soon and can’t bear to skip this ride, make sure you plan your Magic Kingdom day around that closure!

This Tomorrowland attraction has Buzz Lightyear from Disney Pixar’s Toy Story recruit guests to fight the evil Emperor Zurg! Guests sit in spinning vehicles and use the blasters attached to shoot aliens and bad guys from the movie.

Disney hasn’t announced what the refurbishments will look like, it’s likely routine maintenance. Remember, if you really need your Toy Story ride fix, there’s also Toy Story Mania in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which has a similar style of riding in spinning vehicles while shooting a toy blaster!
