Will Haunted Mansion Holiday Return to Disneyland? Here’s What We Know!

A LOT is going on at Disneyland, and things there have certainly been full speed ahead since the resort’s reopening.

This is Halloween!

We’ve seen the end of temperature checks, the end of mask requirements for guests in most situations, and the return of entertainment and fireworks. We were there when Avengers Campus opened and when the Disneyland Hotel reopened. And we’ll be there when some restaurants reopen soon, too!

So we’re looking forward to more news about upcoming events at Disneyland, particularly about Halloweentime! Halloweentime is HUGE at Disneyland, and it usually comes with a lot of cool and spooky activities and decor, along with A Nightmare Before Christmas overlay on the Haunted Mansion.

But one question remaining on everyone’s mind is this — will Haunted Mansion Holiday happen at Disneyland this year? Well, we don’t have an answer for that yet (Disney hasn’t released any details), but we have seen a sign that it may be returning this year! The Disneyland App currently has the Haunted Mansion AND Haunted Mansion Holiday closed for refurbishment on August 16th.

And the two remain under the refurbishment section until September 2nd, disappearing on September 3rd.

So what does this mean? Well, the only thing we know FOR SURE is that it means that Haunted Mansion will be closed during those dates. But those are traditionally the dates when Disneyland closes the attraction to add the details for the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay. So although Disneyland has not confirmed the return of Haunted Mansion Holiday, this seems like a good indication it might happen this year!

Until Disneyland makes an official announcement, though, we’ll take this with a grain of salt (and hope). But if that changes, we’ll be sure to let you know!
