Happy 4th of July weekend, DFB readers!

Le Petit Cafe
We’re spending the weekend at our happy place — yes, at Disney World. How’d you ever guess? And we’re busy checking out new drinks, new snacks, and seeing what kind of fun 4th of July merchandise we can find!
We hopped on over to Disney’s Riviera Resort today to see if Le Petit Cafe had anything new on the menu. And while we were there, we spotted a new Mimosa called the Sunshine Mimosa. It’s a Mimosa made with the famous POG Juice instead of orange juice!

This seems promising
So we ordered it. And, well, we’re really not “the glass is half empty” kind of people, but um…this is literally what we got — a glass half empty of mimosa. Maybe it wouldn’t look so empty if the glass weren’t so tall.

Where’s the rest of it?
However, it tasted great. It was not light and not overly sweet. We did notice that it didn’t have a heavy POG Juice flavor, so if that was the selling point for you, you might want to skip. But if you’re looking for a nice (half) glass of bubbly with a flavor twist, you might find it quite lovely!

Not heavy on the POG Juice
And yes, that is a Mint Leaf stuck in there, almost as an afterthought. It didn’t affect the flavor, so it’s just a garnish thrown in there for good measure, we guess?

Lone mint leaf
So the Sunshine Mimosa is rather tasty and a nice refreshing way to add a little sunshine into a cloudy day (like we’ve been seeing in Florida). But is it worth $13 when you’re only getting half a mimosa? In our opinion, it’s not a great deal, but what do you think?
We’re still trying out more treats and drinks at Disney World this weekend, so stay tuned for more reviews!
