It’s almost the Fourth of July, which means we’re seeing lots of red, white, and blue treats and merch in Disney World!
Today we tried a brand new treat and if you’re visiting Disney World for the Fourth of July, you might want to plan a stop for this!
We’ve tried a Fourth of July Cupcake and the Peanut Butter Pie, and today we were looking for different kind of patriotic treat. We decided to pay a visit to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, known for their ginormous ice cream sundaes, where we learned about a brand new item (so new it’s not even on the menu yet!) and we were not disappointed by their limited, star-spangled Apple Pie A La Mode! Let’s dive into it.
The Apple Pie A La Mode is $9, and you get an apple pie served with a BIG scoop of Edy’s vanilla ice cream and topped with red and blue caramel sauce, whipped cream, and red, white, and blue sprinkles with star shapes mixed with regular sprinkles. Check out this beauty!
The apple pie is served slightly warm, so you don’t have to worry about your ice cream turning into soup too quickly, and we loved the red-white-and-blue theme with the caramel sauce and sprinkles. The Apple Pie A La Mode is not currently listed on the menu, but we were told it should be around for about a week, so if you want to try it don’t wait!
Just look at that flaky pie crust! If your favorite kind of sweet treat is anything but chocolate or maybe if you’re more of a Team Pie kind of person, this might be perfect for you. If you love apple pie in particular, this is totally for you.
While were told that this particular Apple Pie A La Mode is limited, the bakery is now able to make pies, so we could see this stick around with different toppings! You can find this version of Apple Pie A La Mode for $9 at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop between the Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts for about a week.
Stay tuned to DFB for updates about the Beaches & Cream Apple Pie A La Mode!
