Disney World is gearing up for the Fourth of July weekend coming in just a few days! We’ve seen some Fourth of July Minnie Ears, some patriotic gear in the Emporium, and even an America-themed MagicBand!

Can we count the new Captain America Ears we found as Fourth of July gear? We think so! And today we found a new way to celebrate with a delicious Fourth of July treat in Disney World!
We’ve seen plenty of treats themed for the Fourth of July in Disney World, from cupcakes to margaritas! The one we found in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, though, was new to us, and it has to be one of our favorites! It’s the Star-Spangled Sundae, and you can find it at the Anandapur Ice Cream Truck located in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom!

The sundae is blueberry and vanilla soft-serve ice cream with a strawberry compote, served in a waffle-cone bowl!

We thought the blueberry flavor was light but definitely present in the ice cream. And it added just a bit of tartness that we think complemented the vanilla perfectly. The strawberry compote was also delicious, and there was plenty of it. We LOVED finding pieces of strawberry at the bottom!

The sundae is served in a waffle bowl, which adds a great crunch to the treat! And as big cone fans, we appreciated that there was so much of it! We are suckers for a cone bowl.
Overall, we really enjoyed this treat and we’d highly recommend trying it! It’s $6.49 at the Anandapur Ice Cream Truck!
