Disney World is slowly returning to its pre-closure normal. We’ve seen the end of temperature checks, the end of face-covering requirements in most locations, and social distancing measures have been removed.
The baked mac and cheese is BACK!!!!
Hungry crowds are returning to Disney World, and well, they need places to eat. So we’ve also seen a lot of restaurants and snack spots reopening, including Cape May Cafe, Tusker House Restaurant, and Maya Grill. ALL the food is coming back, baby!
And now, another snack spot at Disney World looks to be reopening. We were checking the hours today for Eight Spoon Cafe and noticed something different– hours are officially listed for this weekend — on SUNDAY from 10:30AM to 2:30PM!
We have seen this happen for quite a few dining locations over the past few months. And they have indeed opened on the date and at the time listed on the website! So, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that Eight Spoons officially reopens this weekend.

And don’t worry, that Baked Macaroni and Cheese is still on the menu, including the version with Pulled Pork! YUM!

But there’s something new on the menu, too — a Pulled Pork – Jelly Donut Sandwich. Now we’ve had this before back in 2019 with Animal Kingdom’s Tasting Sampler at The Smiling Crocodile. It’s a Pulled Pork-stuffed Jelly Donut with Slaw for $6.99, and we really liked it then! We’re happy to see it added to a menu!
