NEWS: NEW Character Cavalcade Coming to Magic Kingdom for the 50th Anniversary!

The start of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations is just a few months away!

We’ve already gotten some information about what to expect for the 50th (an 18 MONTH long celebration, for starters) and we’ve started to see Cinderella Castle and other places in Disney World preparing for the big annivesary. But today we got even MORE exciting news about what’s in store!

Earlier today Disney announced that a NEW nighttime spectacular (called Enchantment) will be coming to Magic Kingdom for the 50th Anniversary! The new show will even feature projections down Main Street, U.S.A., which we cannot wait to see!

But wait…there’s more! Disney has now announced that guests will also get to enjoy a brand NEW cavalcade during the 50th Anniversary called “Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade!”

Who will you get to see during this cavalcade? Well, some of your favorite Disney friends, of course. But, they’ll be sporting NEW looks!

Previously, Disney had announced that Mickey and Minnie Mouse would be getting new outfits for the 50th Anniversary but they aren’t the only ones who will be looking extra snazzy!

Earlier today, Disney announced that Mickey and Minnie’s best pals will be getting in on the fun! Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale will all be sporting NEW custom-made EARidescent looks beginning October 1st.

According to Disney, their outfits will be “highlighted by embroidered impressions of Cinderella Castle on multi-toned, EARidescent fabric punctuated with pops of gold.”
