EPCOT’s transformation is making progress!
We know, these lights are STUNNING!
We’re getting EXCITED for the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and we’re keeping an eye on the construction for the new Harmonious fireworks show. But we’re also checking up on smaller projects around the park — including the new Creations Shop!
In case ya missed it, Creations Shop will be replacing Mouse Gear in the new World Celebration area. We’ve already shared a peek at the work being done there, and now, we’re seeing what progress has been made!
Most recently, Imagineer Zach Riddley shared that the floor-to-ceiling glass walls for the shop have been installed.

He explains that the main goal for the store is “light and openness,” and these windows will contribute to that effect. But the Imagineering team had to use some creativity to make the spots where the glass meets the ground and ceiling “seamless,” creating the illusion that “the glass is emerging from the ground in one perfect, clean motion.” We think it looks pretty nifty!

Okay, so we’ve got some cool glass walls…but what else is goin’ on inside this store? Well, Zach recently shared the “translucent and color-changing” dichroic resin material fixtures, which will add a “dynamic feel” to the space…

As a reminder, here’s what the shop will look like when it’s complete. It’s expected to open THIS summer, so we’ll be inside checkin’ it out for ourselves soon.
