Disneyland is BACK open today, and we’ve been reporting to you live with ALL the details!

We’ve already taken a look at how rides, dining, and more have been affected by the parks’ reopening. But what’s Disney without characters, right?! We’ve seen quite a few of ’em already during A Touch of Disney at Disney California Adventure, but we’re so excited to see more. We’ve kept ya in the loop as Disney announced which characters would return to the parks, and today’s the day…we FINALLY get to say hello!

We’re kickin’ things off in Disneyland, in New Orleans Square! And ARGGGHHHH!!! We found one of our favorite pirates there! It’s Captain Jack Sparrow, Savvy?

Later, we came back to see Redd had taken up residence here. She’s got to keep those other pirates in line!

Yay, pirates! But we also decided to hop over to Disney California Adventure to find more characters! We ran into Goofy and Daisy, this time across from Carthay Circle. Gawrsh!

Avengers, assemble! Black Widow came out on the stage and showed off her superhero moves! We can’t WAIT for her movie to come out!

We also spotted a friendly Country Bear — it’s Wendell! He was hanging out near the trees as bears do, ya know?

Over at Pixar Pier, we saw some more superhero activity with a visit from Elastigirl!

Over in Cars Land, Mater was out and about near Fillmore’s Taste-In (which is currently closed).

And Lightning McQueen was sitting near the entrance to Radiator Springs Racers.

Over at Pixar Pier, we got to say hello to Jessie and Woody!

And you wanna’ talk about RARE characters? Horace Horsecollar was out and about greeting guests!!!

And then Oswald came out to say hi!

We were so happy to see familiar faces again! If you’re wondering where Mickey and pals are, we spotted lots of them out and about during the Cast Member previews earlier in the week — don’t worry, they’re around!
