What’s New in Magic Kingdom: MORE Castle Decorations and a MAJOR Jungle Cruise Change!

It’s so that we can bring YOU all of the latest news from Disney World! Of course, we’ve visited Magic Kingdom a few times this week and now we’re bringing you the latest in construction, and merchandise!

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates

Jungle Cruise

First up, we’ve got a MAJOR update on The Jungle Cruise in Adventureland. This attraction is currently undergoing a major refurbishment that will add and change many ride scenes. We’ve already spotted the disappearance of Trader Sam…

No more porters!

…and now the famous rhinoceros scene with the pole is gone as well! Concept art has shown us that this scene will be getting new characters so we’re SUPER excited to see them.

Emporium

The Emporium had the capacity sensors that we’ve spotted recently, but Cast Members were still posted at the doors to count guests entering and exiting.

Cinderella Castle

Cinderella Castle continues to get glammed up for the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Disney World. We noticed a few more ribbon details added to the spires.

Cool Ship is still in the midst of repainting, so we stopped by to take a glance at the progress!

Emporium

Main Street Emporium had the Disney World Happy Place T-shirt that we’ve seen pop up around the other parks.

Box Office Gifts

And Box Office Gifts, which is currently holding a wide selection of merchandise from The Chapeau while it undergoes some refurbishment, had the Pink and Gold Ears restocked.
