As the global health crisis continues to impact the travel industry, we’ve seen the Disney Cruise Line and Adventures by Disney cancel many of their upcoming departures over the past year.
Adventures by Disney has suspended many of its trips and has continued to update its policies for those who have booked a trip or are planning for one in the future. Most recently, trips through March were canceled, but Adventures by Disney has shared another update to their schedule.
The Adventures by Disney website now states that all departures through April 30th, 2021 have been canceled. There are two trips that will still take place, however, including both the Arizona and Utah Adventures departing on March 15th (which has passed) and a Costa Rica Adventure on April 10th.
The Disney Cruise Line also announced more cancellations today and Adventures by Disney has updated their site with information regarding the packages that are impacted. In addition to those already canceled, impacted sailings now include Disney Magic departures on August 18th, August 28th, September 11th, and September 18th.
Those who booked their adventures as part of a Disney Cruise Line departure will automatically receive a full refund, while all others will receive information about refund options directly from Adventures by Disney.
UPDATE: The Adventures By Disney site now has a more general statement about cancellations (as opposed to that previous listing of specific trips that have been impacted). The website indicates that “Adventures by Disney is continuing to assess future travel operations on a destination-by-destination basis.” They also note that they will contact all impacted Guests or their Travel Agents with updated information and options.
We will continue to keep an eye out for any additional updates so stay tuned to DFB for the latest!
