Disney World park passes have been hard to come by lately. Not only have we seen the parks sold out on quite a few days the past month, but we’re also starting to see park passes fill up for October when the big 50th-anniversary celebration begins!
But it looks like guests are making plans to head to Disney World this summer, too — and if you have plans to visit the parks for the 4th of July, you better start booking your passes now!
When we looked at the park pass availability calendar on Disney World’s website, we noticed something HUGE — park passes for June are going fast! If you look at the calendar below, you’ll see that Hollywood Studios is already booked up for most of the month for Theme Park Ticket and Select Resort Hotel guests.

Right now, the 4th of July is still available for all four parks, but if previous months are any indication, this could change fast. Blink of an eye fast, you guys. We saw May fill up before June, so it’s pretty likely that seeing June fill up means July passes will soon be gone, too!

So our best advice is to grab those 4th of July passes now before it’s too late! Here’s the thing — the 4th of July is almost ALWAYS a busy day at the parks. And with capacity limits the way they are, we want you to make sure that you are set and ready to go if you’re looking to visit the parks that day.
The two parks that are usually the busiest are Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. If those are on your list for the 4th, keep that in mind and plan to book those first! Also, remember that you only need a park pass for the first park you plan to visit that day. You can hop wherever at 2PM as long as the park your planning to visit hasn’t hit capacity.

Yes, Disney does occasionally release more park passes for select dates, but there’s no guarantee that they’ll become available. So book now while you can! And we’ll continue to keep an eye on availability and let you know what we find!
