REVIEW: Blink and You’ll Easily Miss These Disney Desserts!

By now you probably know that one of our favorite Disney World attractions isn’t a ride or store — it’s food!

Our next treat is at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Disney World went from 0 to 100 on green snacks for St. Patrick’s Day and they’re doing the same for Easter so we’ve been pretty busy (and full). But, today we decided to take a break from all the bunny and egg-covered snacks to try something new at one of our favorite coffee stops!

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we were in need of a little mid-day pick-me-up and headed over to Joffrey’s Royal Anandapur Tea Company located in the Asia area. Little did we know, we’d find something brand new to the kiosk! Sitting out front in the pastry case was a new Lemon Cake. So we gave it a try!

Nothing like a classic lemon cake for your Tuesday!

It is a mini loaf cake with an icing glaze on top — pretty much everything you could want in your lemon cake! And, while there wasn’t anything special about it, we liked it a lot! The cake itself is not overly sweet from the lemon, though you can definitely taste the flavor. Plus, it’s a pretty good size and would be a great snack to grab if you’re looking for something to hold you over until your next meal.

Now THAT’S what you want to see when you cut into a lemon cake!

If you’re a fan of lemon flavors in your pastry or want a treat that’s not super-rich or sugary then this will likely be a winner for you!
