There’s a new Marvel show in town and there’s already some buzz-worthy news about it.
No, we’re not talking about spoilers…we’re talking about CAKE! If you enjoyed eating the weekly themed WandaVision petit cakes, then you’re in for a treat (literally!). Today, a new tiny cake debuted in Disney World in honor of the release of The Falcon and Winter Soldier on Disney+! So, we headed over to give it a try!
The new cake is called The Falcon & Winter Soldier Petit and can be found at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs.
It’s a chocolate chiffon cake with dark chocolate mousse, raspberry pâte de fruit, raspberry mousse, and white chocolate pearls. The ingredients sound good and all, but we need to talk about the details that make this little cake oh-so-hard to devour without a photoshoot. The top says, “Who will wield the shield?” which we’re hoping is a question they answer in the series.
And, the side is decorated with intricate Captain America details. Now, you know we can’t resist giving Disney snacks a try no matter how good they look on the outside, so we dove right in!
This little guy has A LOT going on. Between the fondant, jelly, mousse, and chocolate pearls we were having a blast eating through all the textures. The raspberry jelly was what caught us the most off-guard, but if you’re a fan of raspberries, we think you’ll like it. Overall, we still thought this chocolatey, fruity cake was delicious!
This little cake is going to cost you a pretty penny and is priced at $20. But, it is definitely worth a try if you’re a big Marvel fan or are craving a lighter cake treat! It’s only available for a limited time so be sure to stop by before March 28th! If these cakes based on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier are anything like the WandaVision cakes, then we’re probably going to see a lot more of them. So, stay tuned to DFB for the latest!
