You might be thinking that the busiest place in Disney World is potentially Magic Kingdom, or maybe Disney’s Hollywood Studios with everyone trying to spend their time in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
But, today things might be a little different! Today, the busiest place in ALL of Disney World might just be…a Disney Springs restaurant?
Today the situation at Disney World might be different than you expect because it’s a special holiday — St. Patrick’s Day! We’ve been making our way around Disney World the last few days, trying a whole bunch of St. Patrick’s Day treats. But, if you’re looking for a place to really celebrate St. Patrick’s Day it seems the popular choice is…Raglan Road Irish Pub!
When we walked past Raglan Road earlier today we spotted quite a few folks outside, waiting in line, dressed in their green garb, ready for an Irish feast!
Raglan Road is an Irish pub so it seems like an appropriate plate to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The restaurant has been hosting its Mighty Festival for the past few days. And while the Irish drinks and food might be enough to bring you to this spot, as part of the Mighty Festival quite a bit of entertainment is also set to be available including Irish dancers and special musicians.
The Festival ends today and it seems like it was EXTREMELY popular. Earlier today, Raglan Road posted via its Instagram that, due to reduced capacity and a long wait line, they were already FULL and would not be able to serve any more guests for the rest of the day!
WOW! So, unfortunately if you wanted to check out the Mighty Festival in person, it seems like you’ll have to try again next year.
But, you can still enjoy a bit of the Irish festivities from your home! Earlier today, Raglan Road shared that they will be sharing a live stream of The Irish Show today at 7:15 PM on their Facebook.
So, if you didn’t make it out to Raglan Road to celebrate in person, grab those fish and chips and some green gear at your house and celebrate with them virtually!
We’ll keep an eye out for more festivities for St. Patrick’s Day and other upcoming holidays all around Disney World. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates.
