We’ve certainly eaten our share of artistic snacks here at DFB!
It’s a work of art!
Not only have we sipped on a Bloody Mary in a Warhol-style tomato soup can, but we’ve also had a Passion Fruit Mousse that looked almost too beautiful to eat. Then there were the gorgeous Valentine’s Day creations over at Le Petit Cafe, along with a chocolate sculpture of Cinderella Castle at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
We wouldn’t have guessed that we would find a super artistic dessert at Backlot Express in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But we have, and it fits in perfectly with the restaurant’s theme! It’s a Paint Can Cake!
On the menu board
It looks just like a small paint can, and the confetti cake inside is covered with Vanilla Buttercream. Dripping down its sides is yellow paint, or in this case, Mango-Chocolate. On top sits a White Chocolate Paintbrush ready to be picked up and used to paint a movie scene! And the “paint can” has a chocolate handle!
It looks real!
If you though the outside of the cake was fun, just wait until you see the INSIDE!

Party IN a cake!
The cake, buttercream frosting, and mango chocolate just WORK really well together, and that mango adds a nice zing! It’s a unique snack in both looks AND flavor!
