Sometimes things go wrong in Disney World!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
There are evacuations, kitchen fires, huge water leaks, and more, even in the Most Magical Place on Earth. And tonight, we saw that one of the Disney World icons had some technical issues!
If you stay in Disney’s Animal Kingdom until dark, you can see some simple but stunning projections on the Tree of Life. However, as we were admiring the lights on the tree tonight, we noticed a piece of the lighting was malfunctioning! You can see that the bottom right corner of the tree not lit.

A few minutes later, the Tree of Life went completely dark. The tree looks a little sad without any colorful light around it!

Hopefully this is a minor issue and we can see the beautiful projections in all their glory on our next visit! Stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney World updates.
