We’re having an AWESOME day so far as we explore the 2021 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.
We’ve been reporting live from the festival today and we’ve already tasted some eats and sips from booths like Farmers Feast and Sunshine Griddle. We definitely have some favorites so far, and now we’re returning to a super SWEET booth at this fest — sweet like honey.
We’re bringing you a review of The Honey Bee-stro Hosted by National Honey Board and we are positively BUZZING.
Why is that? Because this spot features items centered around nature’s sweetener, honey!
Menu
The menu at The Honey Bee-stro has a hive-full of options when it comes to honey-based eats and sips. And did we mention there’s a souvenir sipper, too?
We’ve got TWO new items this year and one returning favorite (and we mean FAVORITE — it was a best of the fest!). Let’s get tasting!
Food
Let’s talk about those NEW eats! This year, The Honey Bee-stro is offering Tupelo Honey and Sweet Corn Spoon Bread with Jalapeños, Bacon, and House-made Whipped Honey Butter for $4.75.
While we didn’t taste many of the spices listed in the ingredients, it’s still good! This dish came across as more sweet than savory. This dish could be way better if it leaned more into the spices and offered a balance of both sweet and savory!
We’re also trying out the Lavender Honey Mustard-marinated Chicken Flatbread with Whipped Honey-Ricotta Cheese, Marinated Vegetables, and Purple Haze Lavender Goat Cheese for $5.75.

We found the Honey Mustard to be a delicious standout in this dish!

The best-of-the-fest-er from last year is the Local Wildflower Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake with Orange Blossom Honey Whipped Cream, Whipped Honey, Crystalized Honey, Honeycomb, Dehydrated Honey, and Fennel Pollen Meringue Kisses for $5.
The Marscapone Cheesecake is a little different than years past — not only does it now come served with Honeycomb, but it looks a bit different from last year, too!

Now that we’ve filled our bellies with all of these honey-inspired dishes, let’s move on to drinks!
Drinks
The Honey-Peach Freeze is a returning item for $15 and comes in a Souvenir Spike the Bee Sipper Cup. You can purchase the drink in its nonalcoholic version with the Sipper Cup, or you can purchase an 21+ version mixed with Blueberry Vodka for $12.
The Freeze is always a tasty option that isn’t too sweet. You can’t really tell a huge difference between the alcoholic and nonalcoholic versions, but the REAL star here is that spunky Spike the Bee Sipper.
Other returning options this year include Florida Orange Groves Winery Orange Blossom Honey Wine for $6.
There is one new sip this year with the First Magnitude Brewing Co. Honey Bee Citrus Blonde Ale from Gainesville, Florida for $4.50 and $8.50, depending on the size of the pour you order!
This is a great beer! It’s very light and drinkable if your goal is to try multiple drinks on your Festival visit. To us, it tasted like a smooth citrus ale with a honey note!

Overall
We can’t think of anything “sweeter” than the eats at this booth — except maybe just plain old honey! If you’re a fan of this un-BEE-lievable ingredient, there’s a variety of options to choose from! It’s also going to be your go-to if you’re on the hunt for that Spike the Bee Sipper!
Overall, this is a good booth — not great, not life-changing, but good nonetheless! Nothing quite says “Flower & Garden” like a booth filled with honey-inspired eats and sips, so head on over for a quintessential Festival experience! Just make sure you leave room in your stomach for even more exquisite dishes around EPCOT.
