We’ve got a brand-new booth at EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival this year!
While festival favorites like the Jardin de Fiestas and The Citrus Blossom have returned again (and again and again), we’re excited to try something BRAND new: EPCOT Farmers Feast. Let’s check out what this new booth has to offer!
EPCOT Farmer Feast will feature a rotating menu — we’re guessing the food offerings will switch up throughout the festival. Pretty cool, right?!
Menu
Right now, we’ve got options like Spring Onion Soup with Crispy Shallots and Micro Chive, Duck Confit (will it taste like the Duck Confit from Fleur de Lys last year? We’ll have to find out!) and a Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail.
There’s also a SURPRISE drink on the menu as well — brace yourselves:
We’ll keep you in suspense to find out what we thought of the Beet Cocktail…for now, let’s get tasting!
Food
We’re starting off with that Duck Confit! It comes with Carrot Purée, Roasted Root Vegetables, Rainbow Chard, and Duck Jus and costs $7.25. This is a pretty notable departure from EPCOT’s previous version of their Duck Confit, so if you’re expecting that dish, be prepared for some changes!
Let’s just say that as one of the first booths we visited, this dish alone sets the bar HIGH for this year’s festival. The duck was cooked perfectly and had a nice, crispy skin. We didn’t care too much for the vegetables that were served with the duck, but they were also cooked very well. If you aren’t a radish fan you may find yourself picking around them, but overall this is a fabulous dish.
Next up is the Spring Onion Soup with Crispy Shallots and Micro Chive. This NEW dish is $4.75 and it looks super creamy!
Turns out, it WAS creamy and delicious! We found the soup to be a little on the salty side, but the onion cuts through it nicely and even adds a touch of sweetness. We DO wish there was more bread, though.
Our last eat from this booth is the Off the “Beet”en Path (guys, we’re LOVING that name). It consists of Profiteroles with Red Beet Mousse, Golden Beet Pastry Cream, Whipped Goat Cheese Cream, and Candied Walnuts and costs $5.50. Sounds…sweet!
If you’ve tried traditional profiteroles in the past, this dish may seem like a head-scratcher. If you’re brave enough to try the dish, you may find yourself pleasantly surprised. The nuts and cream spread were yummy as was the dough on the outside. We weren’t head-over-heels in love with the middle of the profiteroles, however. When you get a bite of everything, however, it’s lovely!
That’s all for the food. Now it’s time for some drinks!
Drinks
We’ve got two drinks on the standard menu: a Watermelon Mint Wheat Ale and a Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail. That cocktail features Islamorada Brewery & Distillery Hibiscus Gin, and it costs $11.
If you’re looking for the Flower & Garden Festival in drink form, this cocktail is your go-to beverage. It was light and bright in all the right ways. You can definitely taste the hibiscus! We did not find it to be too sweet at all but very refreshing at the same time. This will be perfect as the Florida weather heats up over the course of the festival!
And then there’s that surprise Beet Cocktail! If the beet dessert wasn’t enough to satiate your appetite, you can wash it right down with this mysterious concoction: the Blood Orange Beet Cocktail is mixed with Palm Ridge Reserve Rye Whisky and costs $13.
Ok, go with us here for a second…this Beet Cocktail was weirdly delicious.

For all you beer drinkers out there, Farmers Feast is also serving up the 81Bay Brewing Co. Watermelon Mint Wheat Ale from Tampa, Florida and costs $4.50 or $8.50, depending on the size of the pour you order!
Watermelon Mint may not be the first flavor that comes to mind when you think “beer,” but leave it to the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival to keep surprising us with unique flavors! Like the Hibiscus Lemonade, this was a very refreshing beverage. We mostly tasted the watermelon and not so much the mint!
Overall
Farmers Feast has quite the spread for its inaugural Flower and Garden Festival! There’s something for just about everybody who’s up for a little foodie adventure.

This was a solid way to kick off the Flower & Garden Festival. This is certainly a colorful spread of food and drinks, and it’s a “feast” that’s truly fit more for adventurous eaters! But even if you’re hesitant, we found the booth overall to be a success and it did not disappoint.
Be sure to follow along for even MORE Flower & Garden Festival coverage all day long! The festival runs through July 5th this year so you have a whopping four months to try everything around EPCOT!
