PHOTOS: The Area Around Spaceship Earth in EPCOT is FINALLY Construction Wall Free

EPCOT’s seen lots of construction lately.

While reinstallation of the Leave a Legacy panels just finished, there’s still walls up around projects like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and more. But today, we noticed some progress. EPCOT’s park icon was lookin’ just a little different!

That’s right — the walls around Spaceship Earth are officially down! For reference, here’s what the area looked like a few days ago. You can see the construction walls near the left side of the base.

And here’s what it looks like now. Goodbye, walls! It looks like we’ve got some fancy new hedges instead.

This small change really helped open the space up, and it got us excited for the rest of the park’s transformation. As always, we’ll keep you posted with all the latest Disney news. Stay tuned to DFB!
