Many are eagerly anticipating the opening of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort.

The new land, originally anticipated to debut in summer 2020, was to open in two phases. The completed area would have two new attractions, three new dining locations, character encounters, and more. Due to the parks’ closure in spring 2020, the project was delayed.

Imagineers are still working hard to make progress on the project. It was listed as “coming soon”, and we anticipated it to open once Disneyland Resort reopened, but we had no further details — until now!

In the Q1 Earnings Call, Disney confirmed that Avengers Campus is set to open later this year. We can expect to be able to visit this immersive new land sometime in 2021! We’re pretty excited to ride WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure.

Of course, Disneyland Resort is still closed, and no opening date has been announced for those parks. Disney has announced that they expect those parks to be closed through March. Therefore, this timeframe IS subject to change. We’ll continue to keep you posted here at DFB as we receive more Disney news and updates!
