A Unique Way to Celebrate Black History Month at Disney World

With complementary park transportation, gorgeous theming, and activities, there are a lot of perks to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.

And, Movies Under the Stars is one of those activities! The movie series is a complementary evening activity where families can gather on one of the lawns surrounding the resort and watch a classic Disney movie. It can be a great way to end your Disney day before you head to bed and rest up for another busy day!

And, this February select Disney Resort hotels will be joining in on Disney’s Black History Month Celebrations to offer a special Movies Under the Stars program! Hotels will be showing films that celebrate Black culture, like The Princess and the Frog. To find out what movie will play during your visit, you can ask a Cast Member at your hotel.

The movies are only one part of the “Celebrate Soulfully“ programming that Disney will offer throughout the month of February. There will be a whole lot going on in celebration including a new “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” exhibit inside EPCOT’s American Adventure!
