One thing we love about Disney World is that it’s always full of surprises, especially when it comes to food and drinks!
We’ve had cupcakes that have surprised us, along with nachos, cookies, and drinks! But today’s big surprise was heading to one of our favorite ice cream shops at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and NOT getting ice cream, but ordering up morning cocktails instead! Say what?
So first of all, Hollywood Scoops doesn’t usually open up until noon on most days, but today it was opened with the park. And we noticed two new items there that were not ice cream: a Bloody Mary and a Mimosa! And, of course, we ordered both! The Bloody Mary is the Cutwater Bloody Mary from a can we’ve seen elsewhere in the parks.
This baby is SPICY, like how a good Bloody Mary should be! And we were surprised at how good it was, especially being from a can.
Of the two drinks, at $11, it’s also the better bargain, and of course, you gotta have that celery garnish!

The Mimosa had a good portion of bubbles to juice, and each sip was nice and smooth.
However this drink was a bit pricey at $13.
But a Cast Member told us that not only did the drink contain Minute Maid Orange Juice, but the bubbly was Moet & Chandon champagne. So that makes up a bit for the price!

We still think the Bloody Mary was the better of the two drinks, but if you like good bubbly cocktails, the Mimosa might just be the beverage for you! Disney World is just testing out morning cocktails at the parks, so we don’t know how long these drinks will be around — we suggest grabbing them while you can. You can grab currently grab these drinks until 12PM.
Don’t worry, though — you can still get ice cream at Hollywood Scoops, too!
