Yesterday, we tried an INSANE hot dog from Hot Diggity Dog, one of the Disney food trucks at Disney Springs. With billionaire’s bacon, Spicy Peanut Butter Spread, Banana Honey Mustard, Chipotle-Berry Preserves, and more — this dog is either the stuff of your dreams or your nightmares!

The King Dog
But, while we were at the food trucks we also stopped for a slightly less outrageous treat — the Mac & Cheese Fritters! We’ve had some absolutely AMAZING fried mac & cheese at Wine Bar George, so we had to see how these little treats would compare.
The Mac & Cheese Fritters are on the menu for the Mac & Cheese Disney Food Truck in Disney Springs. But, when we visited yesterday, we actually paid for them at the Hot Diggity Dog truck and then picked them up at the ESPN Truck. They’re priced at $6 and are made of Fried Mac & Cheese with Cotija Cheese.

Mac & Cheese Fritters
We actually thought these little fried mac & cheese bites were quite good! They were very cheesy and easily shareable. We also really liked the Cojita cheese on top. Whatever cheese was used in the mac and cheese itself didn’t have a really strong hit-you-in-the-face type of flavor. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. It just means the flavor wasn’t distinct enough for us to really tell exactly what type of cheese had been used.

Mac & Cheese Fritters
We enjoyed these and we’d actually get them again. But, in our opinion, the ones at Wine Bar George are much better! If you’re looking for a quick snack and you’re a fan of cheese, or you’re looking for something your kids will enjoy, this is something you might want to check out.
