We are thriving with all of the food, drink, and entertainment at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts!
Over the past few days, we’ve been trying all of the new and returning foods to the festival and have been reminded of some seriously delicious snacks along the way. And, today we tried a familiar snack that has made its way from a previous festival, with a small change. But most importantly, we learned a HACK that lets you customize this snack!
This year, we didn’t get to see the return of the Paintbrush Churros at the Refreshment Outpost, but we were excited to see the Warm Brown Sugar-Stuffed Pretzel stick around! During EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays, this warm pretzel was served with chocolate soft serve and chocolate sauce on top, making it onto our Best of the Fest list!
The pretzel is still there for $8.25, but with one pretty significant modification — it is now served with Banana Soft-serve Ice Cream.
We gave the pretzel a try and it wasn’t our favorite. The pretzel wasn’t nearly as yummy as we remembered. Plus, the artificial banana flavor just didn’t do it for us. That being said, if you LOVE banana, this might be a great flavor combo for you!
BUT, there is a secret hack that we learned that could turn this pretzel into a favorite for even those who don’t love bananas. You can also order the stuffed pretzel with Strawberry Soft-serve Ice Cream, or even a swirl of banana and strawberry soft-serve together!
The switch just might transform this snack into a favorite for every palate. And, if you’d prefer no soft-serve, you can order it without (just note that they’ll still charge you the full price).
We’re definitely missing the chocolate soft-serve that topped the pretzel during the Festival of the Holidays, but the ability to choose your flavor is a nice addition. Check back with us for more snack hacks!
