Just yesterday, we happened upon a veritable pineapple treat EXPLOSION in Disney Springs, with new snacks making the most of that tropical taste even in these cooler winter months. Today, one of our stops along the way is Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

And, as it turns out, there’s already a bit of summer fever in the flavors here, too, as we’re checking out the new Orange Creme Cupcake at Roaring Fork!
We didn’t happen to see this one pop up on Mobile Order just yet. Instead, the bright orange pop of color is what drew our eyes to it from the display of options as it was set next to the still-going-strong Campfire Cupcake.

It’s a pretty thing, isn’t it?
And it’s all in the name… the Orange Creme Cupcake boasts orange-flavored cake with a crème center, like that classic Creamsicle combo.

As it turns out, there’s a hint of orange flavor to the icing, too — just a touch. A candy orange slice completes the presentation.

And the result? It’s wonderful. The taste of orange is light, bright, and refreshing.

With heavier flavors like chocolate as the cupcake norm, it’s a lovely change of pace! A very well-executed treat overall, we’d say!
