Welcome back, DFB friends, and Happy New Year!

We spent a day at Disney Springs to see what’s new, and we found some new merch, ate some cookies, and checked out some brand new Valentine’s Day cards! Also, Disney Springs has resumed its pre-holiday hours and is now open from 10PM to 10PM Sunday through Thursday and 10PM to 11PM Friday through Sunday.

Disney Springs Food Updates

Gideon’s Bakehouse

We’ve been enjoying the soft opening of Gideon’s Bakehouse, and previously shared the January menu for the Disney Springs location, as well as tried one of the Cake Slices of the Day. When we went it was a Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Slice for $8. YUM.

We also indulged in a Hot Cookie Hour for $10, which is a warm Original Chocolate Chip Cookie served with Kelly’s Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream – the cookie and ice cream was a match made in heaven!

However, we recently found out that Gideon’s would temporarily be closing, and it is uncertain when it will reopen.

Disney Springs Merchandise Update

We didn’t spot any new merchandise, but we did notice that 2020 holiday merchandise has moved to the sale section of the shop, and 2021 merchandise has officially taken over!

We get it — we’re ready to kick 2020 to the curb, too! Bring on the New Year!

Goodbye, holiday cards, and hello, Valentine’s Day cards! We popped into LovePop and saw a few of its new Valentine’s Day offerings, like this Truckloads of Love Card for $15.

There’s also this super cute Star Wars Darth Vader Valentine! The Dark Side never looked so sweet! This card is also $15.

The I Love You More Than Chocolate Valentine’s Day Card and the Red Rose Arrangement Bouquet are both $13 each.

LovePop always has the coolest 3D cards — they make great gifts, too!

We finally laid our eyes on the Keith Haring x Mickey Mouse collection by Coach!

Most of these items are pretty pricey, but Keith Haring’s graffiti style and Mickey Mouse go great together! And it’s all available now at Disney Springs.

Disney Springs Construction Update

Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew

Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew added some overhead string lights to its seating area, and we think it’s looking like it might be ready to open soon! We are READY for some donuts!

We’ll let you know when we get an official opening date!
