We’ve had a LOT of margaritas at Disney World, with a variety of flavors!

Some of these cocktails have been pretty unique, including tomato margaritas, pumpkin spice margaritas, and smoky Dia de Muertos margaritas! When it comes to drinks, it’s important to mix things up. Don’t ya think?
Well, we can now add a Golden Margarita to the list! We got excited when we saw a sign in the window at Trilo-Bites for a Golden Margarita with Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila, Grand Marnier, Sweet-and-Sour, Lime Juice, and Sparkling Golden Salt. And the photo shows it topped off with a Golden Lime Slice! NICE!

So, naturally, we ordered it! And we got a Golden Margarita, alright, but the Golden Lime was sadly nowhere in sight. A Cast Member explained that they’ve been too busy to keep the golden limes in stock. And it seems they’ve been going without regular limes for a few days, too.

But the salt rim IS gold, although it’s hard to tell in the sunlight. And this is a tasty classic margarita, so if that’s your thing, you’re going to love it. It’s not TOO strong, but you can still taste the tequila.

We’re still a little disappointed about the lack of the golden lime, but we’re not going to begrudge a tasty drink for a lack of one single embellishment. You can grab this drink now for $14. And we’ll let you know what other drinks we find throughout Disney World, too!
