VIDEO: Check Out This Incredible LEGO Model of Disney’s Riviera Resort (With a Mini Skyliner!)

Happy 1 year anniversary Disney’s Riviera Resort!

That’s right! Disney’s Riviera Resort opened a whole year ago, and we’ve been enjoying delicious drinks and fun character meals there ever since! And now Disney has celebrated this fabulous Resort’s anniversary with something special — an incredible LEGO model!

To celebrate the first anniversary of Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney Vacation Club asked The LEGO Group to create a model of to Resort in consultation with Disney Imagineers. LEGO Master Builders actually spent more than 300 HOURS designing and assembling the model, which weighs a whole 100 POUNDS!

The model has over 45,000 LEGO elements and even includes a miniature recreation of the Disney Skyliner, the Resort’s pool and waterslide, and that beautiful “RR” monogram. In the model, Minnie and Mickey are also featured outside of Topolino’s Terrace — Flavors of the Riviera.

You can check out the video below to see how this amazing LEGO model was created. The creation is set to arrive early next year at the Disney Vacation Club kiosk in Disney Springs Marketplace, where its scheduled (for now) to remain on display for the rest of 2021 (which is actually the year that marks 30 years of Disney Vacation Club)!

So cool! We can’t wait to see this amazing LEGO model in person once it arrives in Disney Springs. Until then, we’ll have to stop by the LEGO Store in Disney Springs to check out their current displays and dream of all the awesome things we could build.
