Now that the holidays have officially arrived in Disney World, it looks like the crowds have arrived as well!
Yesterday marked the start of the 2020 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Of course, we were there checking out all of the delicious food and beverage items at this year’s festival! But in addition to the menu items, we also got a taste of the crowds that arrived to check out the new seasonal offerings.
It’s not unusual to see heavier crowds in EPCOT on the first day of a festival. Plus, EPCOT does tend to be more crowded on the weekends when there’s a festival running since that’s when many locals are able to head to the park to check it out.
And indeed, EPCOT does appear to be pretty crowded today. In fact, there’s a long line just for guests to enter The Land Pavilion!
But even though the line looks intimidating, there is some good news — a Cast Member told us that the estimated wait time from the end of the line is only 10-15 minutes since it’s moving pretty consistently.
And there’s no need to worry about missing your meal at Garden Grill — guests with a reservation are able to bypass the line and get right inside the Pavilion. Here’s another look at that line!
There’s a line just to get into The Land Pavilion (similar to the Mexico Pavilion). It’s only a 10-15 mins estimate though because they have people constantly moving. If you have a reservation you can go right in! pic.twitter.com/yQCJKOibma
