Disneyland Announces Carthay Lounge Dining Reservations, Experiences Technical Difficulties

Disneyland Resort reopened a small portion of Disney California Adventure Park for shopping and dining.

Buena Vista Street welcomed guests last week with modified gift shops and outdoor dining options. The Carthay Circle Lounge was adjusted to fit the California health mandates that require restaurants to seat diners outdoors. The lounge is now serving guests on a new make-shift patio. Upon opening, the lounge was only taking walk-up reservations for guests visiting Buena Vista Street…until now!

Disneyland is now taking reservations for the Carthay Circle Lounge! A tweet was shared by Disneyland that stated the reservations were available to book starting today. The tweet was deleted soon after. Disneyland has returned to Twitter and made the announcement a second time. Disney advises that advance reservations are highly recommended.

The website was experiencing technical difficulties as many users were stuck in the virtual waiting room when reservations were originally released. The Disneyland app directed users to the same virtual waiting page. The reservation page seems to be working now and you can search for reservations on either platform.

You can book your reservation by heading to Disneyland’s website under dining reservations. Reservations are available to book between now up to January 3rd, 2021, which is as far as the Disney calendar runs currently.
