As the Disneyland Resort reopening remains unknown, another event has been canceled.
Last graduation season, Disneyland Resort had to cancel Grad Nite celebrations. Typically, these nights give recent grads a chance to explore Disneyland and Disney California Adventure in celebration of their accomplishments. Now, the 2021 events have been canceled as well.
Thanks to @DisneylandTourGuide on Instagram, we got the tip that Disneyland Resort announced that the recently-released state guidelines for theme parks leave Disneyland in limbo when it comes to reopening. Since the parks may be closed for the foreseeable future, Grad Nite 2021 has been suspended.
The statement notes, “We know how disappointing this will be to the many graduates who were looking forward to celebrating at the Disneyland Resort, and we thank you for your understanding during these challenging and unprecedented times. We look forward to celebrating your students in years to come.”
We’ll be following along closely with Disneyland’s news in the coming months so stay tuned to DFB for updates.
