NEWS: TUMI Has Permanently Closed in Disney World

Over the years, we’ve seen a number of stores close and new stores open at Disney Springs.

Just recently, Wolfgang Puck Express permanently closed, and now a luxury luggage and accessories store in Disney Springs has permanently closed as well.

TUMI is a luxury brand that sells luggage, backpacks, bags, briefcases, and other accessories. We took a look at the TUMI website, and something like a compact 4 wheeled brief from TUMI can be yours for $495, while their “just in case” backpack (normally $100) is available right now for $69.

TUMI previously had a store located in the Town Center area of Disney Springs, but the Disney website now notes that the store is “Temporarily Unavailable.”

When we called TUMI, an employee told us that the Disney Springs location has in fact permanently closed and will not be reopening.

Recently, we also spotted some signs indicating that Lucky Brand’s Disney Springs location had mysteriously closed. But, just as some stores or restaurants at Disney Springs are closing, others — like Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew and Gideon’s Bakehouse are preparing to open. We’re keeping an eye on all of these changes and will definitely let you know if we spot any updates.
