There are lots of construction projects going on in Disney World right now.

There’s construction at “it’s a small world,” TRON, the Star Wars Hotel, and more! Recently, we stopped by another project that’s really starting to come together nicely, the NEW Walt Disney World Swan Reserve hotel.

We’ve been watching construction progress at this spot and looking for updates from Disney since it was announced in 2018. It is set to be a new addition to the Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. It will have over 300 guest rooms, a signature restaurant and bar, a health club, pool, and more.

During our last visit to this construction zone, we saw that a lot of progress has been made on the hotel. Lots of windows and beautiful panels have gone up around the outside of the building.

The blue and white panels give it a beautiful wave-looking effect.

Based on some of the concept art we saw on the construction walls, it appears this may be the area that faces out onto the pool.

Construction cranes are still up all around the building as work continues.

Many of the windows on one side have already been installed, with a few jutting out, giving it a unique look.

The clean glass look makes this spot very modern in its appearance.

Some of the concept art gives us a better idea of what the finished product will look like.

Many areas, however, are still not fully finished, so we could take a peek at some of the indoor spaces.

There’s still quite a bit of work to do to get this spot finalized, but it’s good to see that construction appears to be pushing forward.

Here’s a better look at this new hotel from a bit more of a distance so you can see more of its size and scale.

More concept art on the walls gave us an idea of what some spaces inside the hotel will be like. It looks like we’ll see lots of modern, geometric shapes and clean, modern lines.

The signs on the outside also note that the hotel will be “coming soon.” This Walt Disney World Swan Reserve hotel is currently set to open in 2021, but we’ll keep you updated if we hear any updates on that.
