One of the most popular attractions in Magic Kingdom experienced some technical difficulties this morning.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Queue

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the construction around Magic Kingdom lately, including work on the new TRON Lightcycle Run coaster, construction walls outside “it’s a small world”, and updates to the Magic Kingdom entrance sign. But today, there was an unexpected interruption on one of the park’s attractions.

Since the reopening, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train has remained one of the most popular attractions in Magic Kingdom with a wait time that is regularly among the longest in the park. But this morning, the ride is experiencing some unexpected downtime.

Kelly McCrary shared photos with us on Instagram that show the attraction stopped on the tracks.

Later, a Cast Member made their way onto the tracks and the guests were evacuated from the ride.

As of 10:30AM ET, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is still listed as temporarily closed on My Disney Experience.

We aren’t sure what caused the temporary closure, but we’ll continue to keep an eye on the attraction for any additional updates!
