Is it weird that we’re so obsessed with the music in The Haunted Mansion that we kinda wish we could have it on loop for a sound machine?

No? We thought so too! So imagine our DELIGHT when we heard some spookily familiar tunes while walking down Main Street, U.S.A. It’s official: Halloween is upon us! Well, practically.  

When the famous — and anxiously awaited — Halloween decorations finally went up at Magic Kingdom in Disney World, everything obviously LOOKED amazing! But in terms of soundtrack, it was pretty much your standard merry Main Street music (not that we’re complaining!).

Now that September is winding down, though, Disney appears to be diving DEEP into a Halloween mood, because those familiar jingles are mixed with some wonderfully weird new sounds!

Since we’re Haunted Mansion die-hards, we recognized it INSTANTLY. The Happy Haunts are here to make your Main Street stroll spook-tacular! Or, you know, seasonally on-brand. 

If you’ve ever wanted to dress up like one of the well-clad Happy Haunts, these new dresses are for you!

And there’s other spooky sounds playing from time to time as guests enter the park as well, all while they’re marveling at those Mickey Jack-O-Lanterns!

So as of yesterday, Magic Kingdom guests may hear a mix of Main Street tunes and spooky songs for the season! Keep your ears open!

As if the parade of dazzling new treats, balloons, cavalcades, and merchandise wasn’t proof enough, Main Street, U.S.A.’s “haunted” update makes it clear: Halloween at Disney World is HERE!
