We managed to get some School Bread at another spot in the Norway pavilion to satisfy our cravings, but there’s nothing like seeing (and eating) all those delicious treats from Kringla Bakeri og Kafe, which is a quick service spot located in the Norway pavilion in EPCOT.
Like several other restaurants around Disney World, Kringla has been closed since the parks’ reopening.
But, as we made our way around EPCOT today, we got word that Krigla Bakeri og Kafe is set to reopen TOMORROW, September 26th at 11AM with a limited menu!
It looks like the Cast Members have been busy getting this spot ready for its reopening. We could see lots of social distancing markers outside of Kringla today. They started right outside the front entrance…
…and stretched out, past the bushes…
…and down the side of the planters, by the very front of the Stave Church. They even wrapped further to the left of the lamppost.
The door to the side was also clearly marked as an exit, so that will help to control guest flow in and out of this location.
There were also stanchions inside the restaurant marking the queue area for guests once they are inside.
Social distancing markers had also been placed on the floor throughout the inside of the restaurant…
…and over by the registers as well. The area inside of the restaurant is very small, so the stanchions and markers are really key to ensuring guests can maintain social distancing and get in and out of the space in an easy and safe manner.
We’re not sure what will be on the limited menu yet. Will we see the return of the Chocolate Caramel Brownie? Will the School Bread return to this location? Will brand NEW snacks appear? We don’t know yet, but we can’t wait to find out!
Be sure to come back for more Disney food updates!
Reservations are now available for another EPCOT restaurant that will be reopening soon — Chefs de France! Check out all the details here!
