PHOTOS: The ‘Mulan’ Preview Has Opened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s live-action remake of Mulan finally is officially coming out Friday, September 4th, on Disney+!

We’ve been watching all the lastest Mulan trailers and behind-the-scenes featurettes to get ready to go head-to-head with the Huns. But if you’re headed to Disney’s Hollywood Studios anytime soon, there’s a brand new Mulan experience you won’t want to miss!

A few days ago, Disney announced that a special glimpse of some scenes from the new live-action Mulan would be coming to Disney World! But that’s not all — an authentic replica of a warrior costume and sword and an original witch costume used in the film are now on DISPLAY! Being the huge Mulan fans that we are, we had to go check them out!

The new Mulan remake is a retelling of the classic 1998 animated film where Mulan takes her father’s place to serve in the Emperor’s army to defeat the invading Hun. The costume on the left, however, belongs to a brand new female antagonist who will be taking over for Shan Yu! The other costume belongs to our heroine, Mulan!

You can find this special sneak peek playing at Walt Disney Presents Theater in the Animation Courtyard in Hollywood Studios where it will be running on a continuous loop throughout the day.

Seating inside the theater has been socially distanced with rows of and seats marked as unavailable so that groups may spread out!

To stream Mulan when it’s released on September 4th, you’ll need to be a Disney+ subscriber and pay an additional $30! Mulan will also be released at movie theaters in select markets on the same day!
