Early Registration for the 2021 runDisney Star Wars Rival Run Weekend in Disney World Is Available NOW!

Earlier this year, the Star Wars Rival Run Weekend, which would have taken place April 16th through 19th, was canceled.

The 2021 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend, however, is still scheduled to take place April 15th through April 18th at Walt Disney World. There is also a Star Wars Virtual Half Marathon that is set to take place between January 1st and March 31st of 2021. Spots for runDisney races usually fill up fast, but right now Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members have early access to register for these Star Wars races!

The Star Wars Rival Run Weekend will feature a 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon, as well as Kids Dashes and a Kids One Mile Run. Those who are especially strong with the Force can also participate in the Rival Run Challenge or the Kessel Run Challenge!

While general registration for the Rival Weekend and Virtual Half Marathon opens August 11th, both Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members have early registration access as of today, August 6th.

For Annual Passholders, this early registration will close at 8:00PM (ET) on August 10 or until capacity limits are reached. As of around 12:30PM (ET) today, it appears all of the Star Wars Rival Run Weekend events have sold out for early registration except for the Rival Run 5k!

It also notes that DVC Members and Passholders should check back for updates on the Kids Races.

Spots for the Star Wars Virtual Half Marathon and Kessel Run Challenge appear to be still available.

If you’re looking to run one of the available races, you’ll definitely want to register quickly!! If you couldn’t grab an early registration spot, be sure to check back once registrations open to the public on August 11th!
