Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort reopened on July 9th under new health and safety regulations.

The new California health regulation only allows restaurants with outdoor seating to remain open. Despite having outdoor seating, some Downtown Disney restaurants like Tortilla Jo’s remained closed while places like Uva Bar and Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria opened with the rest of the shopping and dining district.
A recent tweet told us that Tortilla Jo’s reopened its doors to the public today, July 23rd!

Folks visiting Downtown Disney can now head to Tortilla Jo’s outdoor seating between the hours of 11AM-8PM.

By the way, dining experiences are currently modified at Walt Disney World and Downtown Disney. All establishments are at limited capacity and seating is spaced out between travel groups. Many restaurants are offering limited menus to compensate for supply shortages and encourage physical distancing for kitchen staff. Tortilla Jo’s will most likely adhere to these regulations too.

As of now, Tortilla Jo’s counter service location, Taqueria, hasn’t reopened with the restaurant. We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more updates on Downtown Disney and the rest of Disneyland!
