“May the 4th Be You…” What started as an unofficial day of celebration among Star Wars fans everywhere has gained more and more significance over the years. And Disney+ has just announced a VERY special way to celebrate what is now known as Star Wars Day this year…

Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian — a new documentary series — will start on May the 4th on Disney+!
According to Disney+ on Twitter, this eight-episode documentary series will “pull back the curtain” on Star Wars: The Mandalorian — the hit Disney+ original Star Wars series…

… which, among other things, delivered Baby Yoda into our lives!

The official Star Wars website shares more details on what we can look forward to in this series hosted by Executive Producer Jon Favreau. This “unprecedented look” will be presented in chapters with each “exploring a different facet of the first live-action Star Wars television show through interviews, never-before-seen footage, and roundtable conversations” hosted by Favreau.

Topics explored will include the filmmaking process and the legacy of George Lucas’s Star Wars, as well as spotlights on the cast and characters and the groundbreaking technology and artistry behind the production.

Do note that after the premiere on Monday, May the 4th, new episodes will debut every Friday.
