How many weeks of homeschooling has it been? Three? Four? We seem to be losing track of time while also simultaneously running out of ideas for how to keep the kiddos entertained!
And while earlier this week, we were thrilled to learn about the brand new #DisneyMagicMoments website, now National Geographic has also launched a new hub featuring educational resources and entertainment!
National Geographic’s new website just went live today! It’s called NatGeo@Home and it’s the lifesaver many of us who can’t glue another piece of dried pasta to construction paper need right now!
On this brand new platform, you’ll find some educational tools to help enforce your home classroom and help make sure your little explorer is building the skills they need!
On the website, you’ll find a Learn at Home portal geared towards ages K-12. It includes prepared lessons on social studies, geography, science, and more. It’s literally the grab ‘n’ go one-stop-shop for resources to teach your kids!
There’s also a feature called the Explorer Classroom where kids will be able to interact with real-life Nat Geo Explorers! There will be live talks from filmmakers, scientists, and others from around the world. Gee, maybe we’ll even have to tune in for some of the live streams! You’re never too old to learn something new!
Nat Geo Kids Books is also offering additional learning materials, activities with a new series of printable worksheets including experiments you can do at home, and fill-in-the-blank assignments. You’ll even find content from one of Nat Geo’s most popular books, Weird But True and Zeus the Mighty!
On behalf of parents around the world, thank you National Geographic for coming to our rescue! And if you haven’t had a chance to check out #MagicDisneyMoments yet, make sure you swing by there as well!
