It’s a season of delicious eats as Disneyland Resort is celebrating the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival!
Now through April 21, 2020, in addition to the Festival Marketplace Food Booths found at Disney California Adventure, a selection of restaurants at Downtown Disney are also participating in the Fest with their own limited-time only offerings.

Salt & Straw has made a name for itself in the Downtown Disney District thanks to their unique flavor offerings of handmade, small batch ice cream utilizing local, sustainable, and organic ingredients.
They are contributing to the festivities with totally adorable cups of Apple Pie with Beecher’s Flagship Cheesecake Ice Cream, which our friend Heather Sievers (@diningindisney on Instagram) had the chance to dig into.
They come complete with a tiny spoon all ready for scooping!
These two dessert tastes and textures — classic apple pie Americana and decadent rich cheesecake — pair together so well, and Heather shares it makes for a delicious cup! Traditional apple pie spices provide a nice contrast to cheesecake, which here is made with Beecher’s Flagship cheddar cheese. (Beecher’s is based in Seattle, Washington, which makes it a natural partnering for the Portland, Oregon-based Salt & Straw.)
So don’t forget… it’s not only in Disney California Adventure where you can find DCA Food and Wine Festival treats! Be sure to stop by Salt & Straw for this special cup!

Disclosure: In nearly all circumstances, Disney Food Blog writers and photographers pay full price for their own travel, hotel, food, beverage, and event tickets. We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. We were invited by Disney to experience the Food and Wine Festival specialty offerings in Downtown Disney. Note that when we attend events as media we are 1) Not required to review that event/food on any of our channels, and 2) Not required to review that event/food favorably. You can always count on DFB to give you a 100% unbiased and honest review of any event that we attend, food that we eat, or beverage that we drink. You can see more in our Disclosure Policy. Thank you for reading. — AJ
