We love sniffing out those secret menu items at Disney World because it makes us feel like some real old-timey detectives. Our latest pursuit lead us right to Barcelona Lounge at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort!

We have tried their Cranberry and Blood Orange Sangria and Passion Fruit Sangria and we followed the clues to another secret menu drink at the lounge right now!
Barcelona Lounge is switching things up on us by serving a Melon Margarita this time instead continuing the sangria train. Very crafty, but luckily — we’re big fans of margs, too!
Melon Margarita Ingredients
This drink is not for the feint of heart. You can definitely taste the tequila and the melon flavor was more subtle. We would have liked a little more of the Midori Melon Liquer to help balance out the tequila because it was strong!

Because it was more tart than sweet, we were so thankful for the sugar rim on this margarita instead of the traditional salt. It added a little extra sweetness that we felt helped round the drink out.

If you want to take on the Melon Margarita, you can find it at the Barcelona Lounge for $16. Hurry though, because if this drink is like the rest of the secret menu beverages, it may disappear without a trace at the end of the month!
