Confirmed! Mickey Shorts Theater Officially Opens NEXT WEEK in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Exciting news! We finally have some new details to share with you about the new Mickey Shorts Theater — including WHEN it’ll open!

And while we already knew the new theater experience would be debuting sometime in March, we can now officially confirm it’ll be happening on the SAME DAY as Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway’s big grand opening!

The new Mickey Shorts Theater is located in the spot where Star Wars: Path of the Jedi used to be. Not only are we expecting this place to look super adorable when it opens March 4th (ah, hello Mickey Mouse theater seats!), but we just found out the Mickey Shorts Theater will be releasing an all-new Mickey short entitled Vacation Fun!

But that’s not all! In addition to Vacation Fun, you’ll also be able to catch a few clips from some of your other favorite Mickey shorts, including Panda-monium, Couples Sweaters, Potatoland, Croissant de Triomphe, Entombed, Dumb Luck, Al Rojo Vivo, Yodelburg and Outback at Ya!.

After the show, there will be special photo opportunities for you and your family to strike a pose with! We’re talking backdrops inspired by some of the Mickey shorts as well as cartoony props! We didn’t think we could get any more pumped for March 4th to come (that’s also the first day of Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival, btw!) but now that the grand opening of the new Mickey Shorts Theater is ALSO slated for next week, there are EVEN MORE exciting new happenings to look forward to!
