Do you love Mickey Mouse? Trick question. Who doesn’t love Mickey Mouse?
A lot of new has been poring in tonight! Not only did we find out when Mickey’s and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is opening Hollywood Studios, but we’ve also even found out the opening timeline for the Star Wars hotel! We’re super pumped for the brand new Mickey Shorts Theater coming to Hollywood Studios and now we know when we can catch all our fave episodes of the Mickey Mouse Cartoon!
The Mickey Shorts Theater is currently under construction in the old theater that housed Star Wars: Path of the Jedi and will be a great companion to Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway!
We’re super excited to be able to see these shorts while we’re in the park. Well, now we know that the theater will be opening in March 2020, the same month as Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway! We got an idea of what the theater will look like too with a new interior concept image and it sure looks fun!
We can’t wait to relax with Mickey and Minnie next spring. We’ll keep an eye out for the specific opening date!

Disclosure: In nearly all circumstances, Disney Food Blog writers and photographers pay full price for their own travel, hotel, food, beverage, and event tickets. We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. Today, we were invited by Disney World to attend their media preview of Rise of the Resistance. Note that when we attend events as media we are 1) Not required to review that event/food on any of our channels, and 2) Not required to review that event/food favorably. You can always count on DFB to give you a 100% unbiased and honest review of any event that we attend, food that we eat, or beverage that we drink. You can see more in our Disclosure Policy.
