Epcot is in the midst of a very exciting transformation!

This multi-year makeover includes the full reimagining of Future World, exciting new attractions, and even new dining options.

While several new World Showcase pavilion shows will be opening on January 17, 2020, a brand new show will also be opening that day inside Epcot’s Land Pavilion.

“Awesome Planet” has been described by Disney as “an on-screen exploration of the realm we call home,” and “showcases the spectacular beauty, diversity and dynamic story of our earth with all the grandeur guests have come to expect.”

We had recently shared a coming soon sign that we spotted in the pavilion.

The date is getting closer and now they have revealed the permanent signage!

The sign is located just above the entrance to the theater that will host the film. We really love how the big block lettering depicts aerial shots of Planet Earth from high above space.

This new entertainment offering will be joining a  “Beauty and The Beast” sing-a-long in the France Pavilion and the Canada Far and Wide Circle-Vision Film in the Canada Pavilion.

We can’t wait see this exciting new film when it opens January 17, 2020 in Epcot’s Land Pavilion.
