Anaheim Ducks Day 2019

We’ll score, too, when Anaheim Ducks Day returns to Disney California Adventure Park on January 8th, 2020.

The hockey team will continue to honor its longstanding ties to the Walt Disney Company with a day-long extravaganza complete with meet and greets, photo opportunities, special decor, and much more, ALL hockey-themed.

Disney Parks Blogs has now released additional information, including details on Event Merchandise and Specialty Treats.

Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream will be scooping up a vanilla ice cream puck dipped in dark chocolate featuring the Ducks logo, while Trolley Treats will be featuring orange creme.

Studio Catering Co. will be serving a hockey puck themed brownie and Schmoozies will be offering an orange shake.

Over near Pixar Pier, Award Wieners and Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta will both be serving an orange macaron.

The Hollywood Land outdoor vending cart near Off The Page will be serving up ALL things Orange including: cotton candy, special beverages, hot wings, and more.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Disney special event without exclusive merchandise. What better way to get you in the SPIRIT, than with a limited-edition Spirit Jersey. Additional apparel includes adult tees, ladies tees, and hockey puck inspired beanie and scarf.

Hockey fans will want to get their hands on (or maybe sticks on?) this limited release puck created just for the event.

Any Ear Collectors out there? This hockey puck inspired headband is SO COOL! We love the detailing on this bow complete with two little hockey sticks.

These merchandise items will be available at Stage 17 from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Discounts will not be applied for this exclusive merchandise. As per usual with special events of this nature, these items are limited and available only while supplies last. Purchase limits apply.

Disney also shared a rundown of the day’s events.

Ducks Cavalcade, Performance Corridor – 1:30 p.m.

Catch a glimpse of Anaheim Ducks players in the performance corridor from Paradise Gardens to Carthay Circle.

Fan Headquarters, Stage 17 – 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

In this hands-on experience at Stage 17, you can test your hockey skill with themed activities while learning about the science of hockey. Interactive photo opportunities are available. You may even be able to meet the mascot!

Meet & Greet with Players, Hollywood Backlot Stage – 2:15 PM, 3:00 PM, 3:45 PM

Snap a pick with some of your favorite players during select times. Wristbands will be distributed for this unique opportunity at park opening in the Hollywood Backlot near the Hyperion Theater queue. It is limited to one experience per guest.

Anaheim Ducks Champion Showcase, Mickey’s PhilharMagic Theater – 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Animation Academy

Artists will be on hand throughout the day to teach guests how to draw some of your favorite Disney Ducks.

Additionally, Disney will get the local community involved by bringing in children selected from local nonprofit organizations, including GOALS, Cops 4 Kids, and Pure Game.
